last night was filled with lots of my favorite things. first i had hh with my work bud, jj. i mean, she's pretty awesome. you know you have a good friend when she snags the best people watching table (2 first dates = awkwardly awesome!) & has a drink when you get there. for real. we were made for each other. ok so then i did some make-a-wish stuff (boring, boring, cant tell you about it but it will be awesome, moving on). THEN my lovie kt came over to watch so you think you can dance. um, i love this show. no seriously, i get so into it & critique the dances as if i know what i'm talking about. the best surprise of the show was my fav from a few seasons ago, ivan, was back on. swooooonnnn! i just love him. ok, anywho, while i was swooning, i was also making bday treats for my her in life (besides my mama), aes. 

no joke, guys this lady is the definition of a baller. let me just gush about her for un momento. she is smart, fun, sassy, super successful (she's a baller of a doc for the twins & usa swimming), super cute, kind, giving, caring,, ok, i'm running out of adjectives & you may or may not be feeling nauseous over the love fest. i'll get to the point. i ventured into a new cupcake for my dear aes. hot fudge sundae cupcakes (thanks joy the baker!). none of my pictures turned out bc my apt is a hot box & this does a real number on my poor phone so i stole the recipe picture. the surprising thing it...they really look like this!

i've heard reports that they are quite tasty. so here's to you aes...HAPPY BIRTHDAY! i'm sure glad you were born.

addiction

it's not a healthy to have, no matter what you are addicted to. i can thank my lovely french friend for this latest addition to my long list of addiction. Pinterest is pretty much the best thing ever. it is a plethora of all things lovely - well not all things but lots of things. there are some tragedies but that is the case with everything, right? nothing is perfect, except me.

oh goodness! i crack myself up. yes i did just laugh out loud at myself. good thing work hasn't started yet so there aren't many people around to hear me laugh at my own bloggie jokes. i highly encourage you to add this to your long list of addictions.

cool thoughts

considering the heat dome, i thought i would take this opportunity to provide you with some cool thoughts. this is the opposite of a common college practice as my roomies (cici & sunshine) would trek home from the pool in those tundra-esque days in february. instead of warm thoughts of hawaii, i bring you cool thoughts.
