beefin'

that's right. beefin'. apparently this week & i are beefin pretty hardcore. yesterday was, well, awful to put it lightly. i rearranged my schedule (gladly actually) to be in minneapolis to meet with my boss. tuesday morning at 9:30am, he decided to stay in winona. no big deal but please sir, do not be even slightly annoyed that i have our necessary materials for the afternoon meeting. which was supposed to be in minneapolis. he was annoyed obvi. luckily, a long overdue phone convo with my bff (note only 2 f's...again, not a typo. different friend category) in wyoming made me reconsider quitting life. she has twins that are 3 1/2 as well as my favoritest people in the world. whole wide world! there's just something about "budget, i love you!" that makes everything in the world right again.

today, beyond the torrential snowing (thesaurus it...it means bucketing) i was almost crushed by the bou's bobcat-snow-remover-guy. rude. then i somehow managed to put a run in my nylons before 8am. classic. my drive to work included almost careening into the river. sweet. lastly, wild turkeys apparently like to crazily romp on franklin avenue. why you ask? probably to inconvenience me. therefore tuesday & i were fighting...now wednesday & i are beefin. is it friday yet?


on the bright side (there's always a bright side), i love birthdays & 3 of my friends were born this week! that means 3 opportunities to create birthday treats, send cards & be generally annoying by mentioning at restaurants that it is a certain someone's special day...of course i will embarrass you for a free dessert. duh.
