neighbors.

on friday, it appeared as though my darling sunshine & i were wrapping up the same kind of week. a rough one. since sunshine lives in the beautiful chi-town, we have phone dates quite frequently & friday was no different. sunshine was trying to end her day at work & i was trying to distract myself from continuing my work (shocking, i know) so we decided to have a quick little phone date. this phone date actually led to planning to remainder of our lives. it was quite a productive conversation. she & her hubby, j-man, are going to move back to their beloved state of mn & i will move back to the 'big city' where we will settle down as neighbors. great right?! then we decided that we will also go to all sorts of fancy functions together all the time that will require much preparation in each other's presence. in her bathroom. just like old times. my hubby (any takers?) will be best friends with j-man (obvi) & we all will live happily ever after. the end.

oh yeah...what is this? elle magazine, you let me down. where is this ok to wear in public? ok, ok, my minnesota closed mindedness does realize this was probably seen on the fashionable streets of new york but really?!

i mean, i guess i like her sneakers. i respect those that rock the high-tops. if anyone finds a place where i can shove a tutu under my skirt & it's totally acceptable with all innocent by-standers, please make me a map. i would love to visit.
